Back then,
Wouldnt have looked
Twice his way
Yet,
Here he is
Standin' at your door
Roses in hand,
His heart in the air
He's different now
You think to yourself
He looks at you,
Cant think of anything else
Other girls want him

But he loves you,
For sure
And you dont want to take it slow
But now,
On this warm summer's day
All you can do is,
Look his way
Wouldnt have looked

I choose a star in the sky that is shinning bright
A star that is filled with glory in its light
The star will resemble the feelings I hold
Of the one thing that makes me confident & bold
The one that sings to me like a story once told

Like a clock,
