It starts out blurry
Very slow
But suddenly, I'm somewhere I know
The park down the street where we used to go
The sun shines on the lake where we swam
The trees we climbed
All those places we'd find
Now I'm somewhere else
My mom's old house
Those days we spent
In front of the TV set
Up in my room
On the deck
There you are, sittin with me
You never knew how much I cared
The wishes and the life we shared
But the sun shines through and I'm awake
So hard to believe it all was fake
Or so it seems,
Our memory was but a dream
